Due to poor construction management, the general public did not know that the jetty at the Jupiter Inlet was still under construction. While fishing from the jetty with other members of the public, our client suffered severe shoulder trauma when a jetty rock suddenly shifted and he was thrown into the inlet. After unsuccessfully contending that our client was a trespasser, the construction company's insurance carrier settled our client's claim for slightly less than one million dollars. A construction area must be adequately protected
